Bizarre artistic buddies of the week: Raymond Chandler, the author of The Big Sleep, The Long Goodbye, and other classic hardboiled detective novels, and Theodore Geisel, AKA Dr. Seuss. Yes. Friends. Drinking buddies. The Cat in the Hat goes rat-a-tat-tat.

I almost lost a mouthful over that. LOVE that. Absolutely love it. Seuss and Chandler, Raymond and Theodore. I love it.
I could translate it fairly simply — it’s quite straightforward — except for the first line. What does it mean, anyways?
“No other woman is as attractive as Sweet Georgia Brown.”
